Troubleshooting Outlook Express
***Before you try any of these steps, disable
your firewall software and attempt to send/recieve e-mail.
***
1. If you have trouble recieving or sending e-mails please
follow these instructions. Open up Outlook Express. This can
be found in Programs/All Programs when you click your START
button. On computers that do not have a full Microsoft Office
Suite the E-Mail icon in the START menu will work as well.
Pay attention to what the icon looks like. Outlook Express
uses a white and blue icon like the one shown below.
2. Inside of Outlook Express, at the top of the window click
Tools, and then Accounts.

3. Click on the Mail tab at the top. Choose the correct account
and then click the Properties button.

4. Please verify that incoming and outgoing server boxes
both have mail.atsi-inc.com in them. Also
verify that POP3 is enabled. Next verify your username and
password, make sure you are not using capslock. Finally verify
that My server requires authentication is checked. Try these
settings and see if they work, if not follow the above instructions
and move onto step 5 below.

5. The final step is to set your SMTP to send on 2525 instead
of 25. We have setup this ability due to the fact some Internet
providers are not allowing you to send e-mail to anyone but
their servers on 25. This setting bypasses this problem but
only works on our server.
