Troubleshooting Audio Collector v6

This is to help technical support people troubleshoot problems with loading Audio Collector v6. This guide requires technical knowledge. If you are not a technical person, please contact your technical support and have them complete these instructions.

1. First, check to see if you have the Audio Collector Icon in your system tray next to your clock.

2. If not reboot your computer. If the icon still does not show, remove Audio Collector, reboot, and install it again. If the icon still refuses to come up take the following actions.

3. Click Start then Run. In the Run box type "services.msc /s" and click OK. This should open services. If it does not display or you get an error. Go to your Control Panel, double-click on Administrative Tools, then double-click on Services.

4. Locate the Audio Collector service. If it is not running, right click on it and select Start. If the service is disabled, highlight the Audio Collector service, right click, and choose Properties.

5. Set the "Startup Type" to Automatic. Click the Start button circled below. If the icon appears, then stop, if not, hit Stop and then Start again.
