Olympus Player Configuration

Next the Olympus software will need to be configured. Please follow the steps below to configure the software to automatically download the files and remove them from the handheld device. The files are kept in a folder within our software until uploaded. At that point they are kept in a local archive for 30 days at this location:

C:\Program Files\ATSI Audio Collector\Hold Work

(if you have Olympus Dictation Module or Olympus Player Pro, contact tech support for further help)

1. Open the Olympus software from the Start menu.

2. Click on Tools, then options.

3. Check the first and last check boxes:

"After downloading a file, delete the original file"
and
"After detecting the device, download all data"

The click the "..." button to change the place to where the files will be copied.

4. Expand C:\ by clicking the + sign if it is not already expanded.

5. Expand Program Files by clicking the + sign.

6. Expand ATSI Audio Collector clicking the + sign. Then select Message and make sure it remains selected. Then click OK.

7. Double check that only the two check boxes circled in this picture are checked and the path in the picture matches the one on your screen, then click OK.

After these steps, connect the handheld and install the device. Once you install the Olympus software, the device should be automatically detected and the drivers loaded, so just keep clicking Next until the install is finished.
