11-15-2006 6.1.2.1 Changes

The changes are only for a few specific customers, so the version number has 
only been changed at the development level until the next release due at the 
beginning of the year.

1. File check option has been extended.  The application will now check 
every 5 seconds for changes to any file before it preforms any actions with 
the file.  This may cause a delay in sending files if the next file to be 
sent is currently being accessed.  Locations that dump files into a folder 
on a server and then use Audio Collector to automatically ship the files to 
our server will see the most gain in this change.  It is also suggested for 
anyone using the Philips SpeechMike directly with our software.

2. A new installer has been added to the list of downloads.  This package 
is in MSI (Microsoft Installer) format.  This install does not require a 
reboot and will start the service immediately upon completion of install. 
This is a better option for server production installs.  

NOTES:

This version of the application will require .NET Framework 1.1 to be installed.  
Keep in mind that .NET Framework 2.0 is not the same as .NET Framework 1.1.

If you have an install shield version of Audio Collector installed, please 
remove it and reboot before continuing.

Future MSI versions, at the moment, will require you to remove the previous 
version before installing the new one.  This has been put in place to stop 
version conflicts with certain DLL files and service installs.

8-3-2006 6.1.2 Changes

1. The Olympus device option now only supports the DS330 and the DS3000 
handheld devices due to compatibility problems with constant changes in the 
Olympus drivers.

2. Any item in the "Message" folder or any subfolders under the application 
directory will now be consolidated into a single folder and then shipped to 
our server.

3. The software will no longer send files under 2KB in size due to errors 
during processing of such files on the server-side.

6-1-2006 6.1.1 Changes

1. A bug which could cause the program to download the contents of the Windows 
directory on some computers under certain patch levels, then ship it to our 
server has been corrected.  This primarily happened to people using a Philips 
SpeechMike device, however there were a few cases with Olympus devices reported 
as well.
